Apache HTTP With Apache Tomcat
While Apache Tomcat includes it's web server internally, we utilize the Apache HTTP webserver to serve the pages through port 80 using the mod_jk connector. This also provides the flexibility to allow you to also run other programming languages such as Perl and PHP if needed. We can configure Apache HTTP web server to handle certain kinds of file while letting Tomcat handle all the JAVA specific requests.

You're In Control
You will appreciate the flexibility of our Private JAVA Apache Tomcat hosting packages. You can run any framework as long as it is compatible with Tomcat by adding the framework specific jars to the classpath. You can stop and start the container at any time via command line using the ./shutdown.sh and ./startup.sh commands. We can also help you setup a framework for your container. We currently support Spring Framework, Struts, JAVA Server Faces and Sitemesh. We will be happy to accommodate you if you need assistance with other frameworks.
