Recently 1.4 just reached end of service life (EOSL) October 30th 2008. EOSL for JAVA 1.5 was set by SUN for October 30, 2009.

What this means is that SUN will no longer provide service updates to these versions of their JAVA virtual machines.

We will allow our existing customers to continue hosting their apps on apache tomcat 4 and 5 with jvm 4 and 5. We will no longer offer new packages with apache tomcat 4 with jvm 4 unless you provide request for this version through our support desk. Based on your request we will make an exception. Otherwise we suggest you consider upgrading to JAVA 6.

Any customers interested in apache tomcat/jvm upgrades, please make this requests through the support desk. Helping customers with coding issues related to compatibility with newer versions are out of the scope of our support service. However, this assistance is available through our development services.

If you need coding assistance in upgrading to JAVA 6, please send email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Thank you!
